Wendy Williams and her husband of over two decades are divorcing but being her partner at home has not been the only role Kevin Hunter has been playing in her life. That being said, it turns out that despite their split, there are no plans of firing the man from ‘The Wendy Williams Show.’
Fans already know that Kevin co-own the talk show and also manages his soon to be ex-wife’s career.
As you can imagine, this is making the divorce pretty difficult on Wendy.
The host filed for divorce on April 10 and allegedly, she is planning to keep their personal life separate from their professional one as much as possible.
One source shared with HollywoodLife that ‘The divorce process so far has been challenging for Wendy. Working with Kevin after serving him [the divorce papers on] Thursday was not easy for her. She is moving forward and taking things one step at a time until they untangle this mess.’
‘Kevin is an executive producer [on the Wendy Williams Show] and also Wendy’s manager, not to mention co-owner of her show, so he has not been fired yet. After he was served [the divorce papers] early Thursday morning, at like 6:30 or 7:00 a.m., he continued to work and finished the day. He was not fired and they did not change the locks on him,’ the insider went on to say.
They made it very clear that Kevin cannot just get ‘kicked off’ the show since he co-owns the production company that produces it.
